Entry to the dance auditions will be accepted from groups from all boroughs...

Registration will now be held on the day of the Auditions as follows:

Saturday 26th June 2010 registration from 4-5pm, main audition 5-7pm
Saturday 10th July 2010 registration from 5-6pm, main audition 6-8pm

A cash payment of £10 will be required on registration...

All groups will be given 4 minutes to perform their dance routine in line with time slots given on arrival.

Please ensure you bring your music either on a CD/iPod only...

Also those who intend to drive, there are no parking facilities available at the venue the nearest car park is the Brewery, Romford which costs £1.20 for 2hrs. It is then a 5 minute walk to the venue.


Dance Competition

The Divine Dancers Competition
You have to be aged between 16-25 years of age, if you want to enter our Divine Dancers Competition. We have some great instructors – and who knows … You could be the next Michael Jackson? Plus you would meet other youngsters who love to express themselves through dance and movement. For the lucky winners – a prize of £1000!

Auditions will be held at:
St. Andrews Parish Centre, 4 St. Andrew's Road, Romford, Essex, RM7 9AT

If your group is successful at the auditions 2 members of your group will be expected to attend a professional dance school where you will be taught various dance routines which has to be incorporated alongside your own dance routine as part of the final performance.

All dance instructors are from Dance Connections who have been providing professional dancing lessons in London and St. Albans for over 20 years.

Antony Lewis
Erica Ryder

The list of the three judges for Divine Dancers is as follows Antony Lewis, Erica Ryder

and a guest judge to be confirmed. There will be a panel of three Judges who have experience in choreography and who have travelled around the world performing, teaching and presenting.

Antony Lewis is a Presenter who specialises and presents street dance styles from around the world. He is also a Choreographer & College Lecturer. He has danced on national TV, Choreographed music videos and high profile fashion shows.

Erica Ryder is the choreographer for the fitness professionals' children's dance program (8-16 years). She is a National trainer in health related fitness for children and a freelance dance teacher in the Essex & Bedford area specialising in Latin dance styles.

The guest judge is passionate about street dance due to its emphasis on teamwork, creativity, self-expression, confidence and self-respect. She is an experienced judge and choreographer.
